She will explore the key principles of ‘Positive Behaviour Management’, during an interactive and engaging webinar. This session will help you to build your knowledge, skill and confidence in managing behaviour. You will reflect on the importance of clarity, consistency, and effective verbal and non verbal communication, as well as exploring what motivates children and young people to behave. You will also reflect on what is working well at the moment and identify areas for further development. This will be a practical and realistic training session with opportunities to share your ideas and lots of suggestions about practical ways to get better behaviour.

Sue Cowley is the author of over 30 books for teachers, including the international bestsellers “Getting the Buggers to Behave” and “How to Survive your First Year in Teaching”. Sue has worked in all phases – early years, primary, secondary and post compulsory – and so understands the needs of teachers teaching different age groups and subjects. Sue is an internationally renowned teacher trainer who has provided input on behaviour for educators around the world. She is well known for the practical, realistic and down to earth nature of her approach. As well as writing, training and presenting, Sue has also helped to run her local early years setting for the last twelve years.
